Robert Holmes February 19th 2006 This promise is for New life Christian Fellowship.
There is a scripture that promises that all the people who have been stolen from us will return to us. I think it's the third well of Abraham and Isaac. Isaac digs these wells and he calls the second one Sitnah and the third one Rehoboth. It says there: "The Lord has brought me to a broad place and He has restored the house of my dwelling place." It says his brothers came and made covenant with him.
You are coming to Rehoboth, coming to a place where relationships that once were broken will be redeemed and restored. People who left will stop accusing you. The Lord is restoring the house of your dwelling place. The scripture goes on to say He has expanded the place of your dwelling- you are in a broad place. [Scripture Reference is Genesis 26:12-31.]
In Isaiah 4:1 it says: "In that day seven women will take hold of one man and say, 'We will eat our own food and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by your name. Take away our disgrace."
Part of this phenomena that you will see of restored relationships is that seven people will grab hold of you and say, "Let us be called by your name. We recognise that God is working in you and that God is walking with you. We want to be called by your name. We want to walk with you. We want to be restored to you."
The words fifty in a day came to me. Fifty will be restored to you in a day. Fifty relationships or fifty in a church or something like that will be restored immediately. It may be that a church of 50 will be restored to you and you will be able to work with them again.
The balancing side of this is the word fragmentation I really believe that Narrabri is now and will become more fragmented. I think you will see departments in local government more fragmented You will see housing developments being fragmented. You will see churches unable to speak to one another. That environment will become more and more frustrating for you.
I don't have an answer for this except to say fragmentation is not in the Lord's will- it is not God's desire to divide and plunder- this is of the enemy. I don't know whether humility and repentance will win the day or prayer and intercession- probably both.
